Two fun ideas: what to do with your toddler this month.
Your toddler may feel like a little color and paper. Although the scribbles are not yet decipherable, but they are still the first steps on the way to learning how to write. Help your child when it is discouraged and not yet mastered pencils and paper as it wishes. And praise the first painting attempts!
Which skills are supported? Fine motor skills, early writing skills
What do you need? Paper, tape, pens
Stick thick paint paper on a tabletop. This will prevent the table from being painted colorful at the end. Then let your little artist design your own picture! First, give your child only pens in the primary colors - too much choice confuses initially only! Name the colors your little one chooses. By the way, washable colors are highly recommended, because the design joy of your little draftsman could well relate to the apartment walls! If you praise your child for the finished drawings, you know that you value his efforts.
The lumber orchestra
To set up a small orchestra, you do not need expensive fashion bells and whistles. Just experiment with the things you have in the household anyway. First of all, that makes a lot of noise and at least as much fun!
Which skills are supported? Fantasy, gross motor skills
What do you need? Cardboard rolls (left over from toilet or kitchen paper), saucepans and lids, wooden spoons
Spread the "instruments" on the floor and show your child how to trumpets on the cardboard roll and how pots and spoons work as drums and - if the neighbors do not complain - practice playing cymbals and pelvis together: Pot lids are perfect for this! Granted, Beethoven's Fifth will not come out - but the fun factor is high!

And here you will find more about the development of your 15-month-old child.
Remember: every child develops at its own pace. If the games this week seem too early for your toddler, do not worry! Just try again later.
