Caesarean section

Question:

Hello dear twin mom 's or even expectant. I wanted to ask how you brought your children into the world or how is it planned? Is a Kaiserschnitz the better choice for twins? Gentler for the children? Am 24 + 4 now and had no conversation with my doctor about it. Slowly make me think about what might come up to me. Had a spontaneous birth so far behind me, that was not so tingling. But before his cesarean section, I would somehow be afraid.

Of course I can not say which is better now. Everybody (and every clinic) has a different opinion.
    I've always wanted a spontaneous delivery and got 36 + 2 :)
For me it was the first birth. A total of 7 hours, my boys' gap is 13 minutes. It could not have been better for me.
If I were you, I would not be so stiffened. I told myself, if there should be something they can still do a caesarean section.
Imagine that with the scar afterwards difficult ... especially with 2 newborns.

I wish you a nice ball-time ... in the end it's always very different than planned;)

  • reply - 2: Hi. Actually, I'm not that way and let everything come to me. I would also be annoyed if I had been in labor for hours before and then they would have to do a c-section because of the scar, I would also consider until the time has healed properly may take. Are your guys identical twins? Wonder how it is because my dizzy are. If a fruit bubble then jumps the other too? Have to talk to the doctor about it
  • reply - 3: Hello,

I spontaneously gave birth after a rupture of membranes and also have dizygotic twins. We were only very late in the hospital, I was only 33 + 1, and then was just under 2 hours in the delivery room. The girl arrived 25 minutes later, both in the skull. It was an unproblematic, fast and beautiful birth, only that the two then had to directly into the incubator. Unfortunately, they arrived 7 weeks early. After 4 weeks we were allowed to take the two healthy and cheerful home.

  • reply - 5: I was initiated at 38 + 1 with my dizygotic twins. I wanted so much a spontaneous natural birth. Unfortunately, twin girl 2 had bad heart sounds after 19 h of labor, PDA, Wehentropf and all sorts of other hick hack and then there was a caesarean section. I cried a lot. And had to fight with it for a long time because I did not want that at all. The time afterwards was not so nice because of the pain on the scar. There is a natural birth I think better. Could not even wrap the kids in the first few days without help. Can only recommend it at least to try ....
  • reply - 6: I intend to do that too! Only with twins I think you should also deal with the option caesarean section. Since two children have to play along so that everything goes well ☺️
  • reply - 7: My kids also came 33 + 1. In our hospital, natural births were carried out at the earliest from the age of 34, so I had no choice but of course I would have given birth naturally. I was in labor for hours before because I wanted to stop the birth. Personally, I do not think it's bad for the children in preparation for the birth.
Personally, I had little trouble with the scars and the cesarean section was not bad, maybe that's because I was preparing for it because a premature birth had been apparent long before.
  • reply - 8: My dizy boys were initiated 14 days before the deadline! At 9 clock in the morning I came to the hospital for admission, at 13 clock the first tablet with 3cm open cervix. But that did not cause much .... at 17:30 clock the 2nd tablet .... from there we went ratzfatz!
Mumu stretched out by midwife, bladder opened and the first boy came after not even 2h .....
unfortunately, twin number 2 then turned in too fast and then came as a stargazer exactly 50 minutes later!
For me was never a caesarean in question because I still have a then 2-year-old daughter, for which I wanted to be fit and with the first and second cranial position, the twins could not have been perfect
  • reply - 9: I also spontaneously got my identical guys on ssw36. Actually wanted a caesarean section because I was extremely afraid of a normal delivery but in retrospect it was the best experience and I would do it again and again
  • reply - 10: I also tend to the "normal" birth, depending on how the children will be. I also had an introduction to my big son, it was really corrosive. Hope that it works without this time.
